Guardian Angel Inc - Our History
The Guardian Angel, Inc Foundation is based in Pella Iowa and came to fruition in 2006. We are a 501(c)(3) organization for at-risk children, founded by Dr. Ana Lopez-Dawson, a clinical psychologist serving families in Iowa for over 20 years.
Guardian Angel Inc, is home to charitable various educational and motivational programs in Iowa throughout the year that aim to help children believe in themselves, reduce their risk for self-sabotage and delinquency and allow them to embark on a journey of self-development.
The Truth...
Unfortunately, for many children and teens, their environment does not provide them with the necessary unconditional love and acceptance for a healthy emotional development. Parents and caretakers, for reasons sometimes outside of their control, are not able to convey to the child that he she matters to him or her and that they are unique and loved unconditionally.Regardless of the reason, there are a multitude of children and teens living quiet lives of desperation as a result of physical damage, secondary to the emotional scars that this neglect and abuse leaves with him or her. Our goal is to end the cycle. So we ask you... Won't you please join us in this journey of LOVE?
