The Threads of Love Program
The Threads of Love Program is one of the 3 Programs supported by the Guardian Angel Inc. Foundation. It was also established by Dr. Ana Lopez-Dawson, and is currently housed at the UNICORNS Facility in Iowa.
The purpose of the Threads of Love Program is to directly provide children and teens that live in Shelters or Foster Homes, whose parents or guardian cannot afford to provider him/her with adequate clothing, with comfortable and beautiful apparel to wear throughout the year.
Whilst there are other organizations and individuals offering programs similar to this during the holiday season, we want to ensure that through Threads of Love, this becomes a daily event in the lives of children.
With contributions from both individuals and corporations, through the Threads of Love Program, we are able to purchase boutique-quality clothing at wholesale prices and avail them to children in need. Please know that when you contribute money towards clothing for a child or teen, we never inflate the cost in order to make a profit. Our goal is to strictly cover the cost of purchasing the clothes and have the child benefit from receiving beautiful apparel. Donations will benefit those who need it most...the CHILDREN.

During the first week of August, 2007, Dr. Lopez and her Team began donating clothes to the Family Violence Center (FVC) in Des Moines. They provided clothing for approximately 30 children set to begin school in September 2007. Dr, Ana Lopez is also donating clothes to Shelters in Des Moines, Iowa and the Sojourner Center in Arizona.
